Google Adsense Sites (end): Tools & Websites I Use On a Daily Basis

Did I already mention Google Keyword Tool?  Just kidding.  Below is a list of sites and tools
that I have found very useful over the past couple years.

FireFox:  If you are not already using this browser get on it and I don't want to tell you again.

FireFox Plugins:  I use these plugins for Firefox everyday and they save a lot of time and
agony.  They are all free to use and install with Firefox and will make your online development
and money making much more enjoyable.
•  SearchStatus: Display the Google PageRank, Alexa rank, Compete ranking and
SEOmoz Linkscape mozRank anywhere in your browser, along with fast keyword
density analyser, keyword/nofollow highlighting, backward/related links, Alexa info and
more.
•  Shareaholic: The ultimate add-on for the link sharing addict! Works with 60+ services
including Twitter, Facebook, Google Gmail, Delicious, LinkedIn, etc. Shareaholic makes
sharing online better, faster & easier and dramatically enhances your productivity.
•  Xmarks: Xmarks is the #1 bookmarking add-on. Install it on all your computers to keep
your bookmarks and (optionally) passwords backed up and synchronized. Xmarks also
helps you uncover the best of the web based on what millions of people are bookmarking.
•  Web Developer: The Web Developer extension adds a menu and a toolbar with various
web developer tools.  Very handy for quickly resizing your browser resolution to the size
your visitors are using.  The resolution information can be obtained from your Google
Analytics account and is helpful s that your users don't have to scroll left or right to see
your entire page.  Remember not everyone has a 24 inch wide screen displays to use
while surfing the web.  Most users still use 1024x760 or 1280x1024.  If your site goes
outside of this resolution than it makes for an unpleasant visitor experience.
•  NoDoFollow: Just a simple extension to highlight links in a page according to nofollow /
dofollow status.

NameCheap:  If you don't have all your domains in one place than get them there.  Namecheap
in my opinion is one of the best registrars out there and they provide very nice features and are
reasonably priced.  Having all your domains in one places saves you both time and money.  They
offer free pushes incase you sell or buy a domain that is registered with them and their support is
very nice as well.

Thesis:  If you are going to run Adsense on a blog I know this much...you must do it with
Thesis.

Advanced Web Ranking:  Now this little gem costs a few hundred dollars a year but once you
have more than two or three sites it is well worth the investment.  The free alternative to using
this program is to simple do a search for your keyword in Google, Yahoo or Bing and bookmark
the results.  This way you can check a large number of keywords with just a few clicks.  If you put these searches in your Bookmarks Toolbar you can open them all with the "Open All Tabs"
button.

AddThis:  I have mentioned it above but I also wanted to include it in the tools because it is a
super awesome resource and it's FREE!

Elance.com:  The best site for finding content writers.  I have found all six of our writers off of
this site and they are all very good at what they do.  Remember with content you get what you
pay for so don't go cheap and outsource your content to someone who can't speak English.
Either write the content yourself, like I did for the first 6-9 months or outsource it to save time.

BacklinkWatch.com:  This handy little resource allows you to quickly scan your competitions
backlinks to see where they are coming from.  It will also tell you if the link is a keyword link
and if it is dofollow or not.

Free CSS Templates: Visit http://www.freecsstemplates.org/ for the best templates to use for
your Adsense sites.  All of my big money html sites are using CSS templates from this site.

Create Catchy Headlines: I use these two links from CopyBlogger all the time when I can't
think of a catchy headline to use.
•  http://www.copyblogger.com/10-sure-fire-headline-formulas-that-work/

RGB Color Calculator:  This is a super handy tool for matching up and/or changing HEX to
RGB and such.  Visit http://www.drpeterjones.com/colorcalc/ and be sure to bookmark this super
handy tool.

XML Sitemap Generator:  All of your sites should include an XML sitemap which should than
be submitted to your Google webmaster account.  This tool will create free sitemaps that you can
download and than upload to your sites root directory.  Visit http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ and
get started making sitemaps if you don't have them already.

Domain Name Generator:  If you can't think of a domain name to use on your own try out this
slick little site.  Visit http://www.dotomator.com/ and get started with making your own cool
sounding and catchy domain names.

The Google Adsense Heat map:  This little baby has helped me out many times.  If you are
unsure as to where to put your Adsense ad than visit this link
https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=17954 and Google will
tell you.

Google Adsense Sites (11): Super Awesome Tip for Getting Repeat Visitors

If you want visitors to come back to your site a second time and click on another Adsense ad yo
must create an opt-in list.  There are many different services and scripts that will allow you to
run an opt-in list.

If you are just starting out and want to do an opt-in on the cheap take a look at your hosting
company.  Many hosting companies run software called Fantastic which will install and setup a
opt-in list for you without needing to know any technical jargon.

If you have a couple bucks to spare and you want all the bells and whistles as well as analytics
and such than I recommend Aweber.  Aweber isn't the cheapest but they are one of the best.  La
time I checked they will handle 10K opt-ins for under $20 a month.

Once you decide on your opt-in service/script the next thing to do is create 12-18 follow ups.
The follow ups will be sent out automatically by your list at the specified times that you tell it.
like to create follow ups that have three parts.
1.  Part one would be a tips/secrets section to the niche you are in.
2.  Part two would be a paragraph or two of unique and valuable information about the nich
you are in.
3.  Part three would be a link back to a "Featured Article" on your site.
Schedule your follow-ups to run immediately after the visitor verifies their email address.  Send
the first follow-up directly after the verification and then send a new follow-up every two or
three days for two weeks.  After that send a new follow-up every week until you run out of
information to send.

Below is a sample follow up that I used with the School Grants website that was making around
$3500 a month.

Google Adsense Sites (10): My Ninja SEO Tips

1.  Title Tags - Your main keyword needs to be in your title tag and there is no exception to
this.  Put your keyword in the title tag and put it as close to the front of the title tag as
possible.
2.  H1 Tags - Probably the second or third most important on page SEO you can do.  Again
put your keyword in the <H1> tag and keep it there.  Be sure to make it reader friendly
and surround it by other words.
3.  Use Keywords In Your Content - Couple keywords in the content is good.  Like I
stated above I've never really worried about keyword density but it is good to have a
couple of your targeted keywords in a few different variations in your actual content.
4.  Meta Descriptions - These don't carry as much weight as they once did but still good to
have.  Descriptions should only be about 2 sentences long and should actually make
sense when you read it.  Put your keyword as close to the front of the first sentence as
possible and than again use a variation of your keyword in the second sentence.
5.  ALT Tags - If you have pictures on your site be sure to include alt tags on them.  Use
your primary keyword first and if you have a lot of pics use variations of your keyword in
the alt tags.  If you don’t have any images add some.
6.  Meta Keywords - The least important on page SEO you can do.  Still works with some
search engines and is worth sinking a few minutes into.  Again with this only use your
main keyword and about 2-3 variations of it.  Do not overdue the meta keywords as this
can actually be a penalty.
7.  Link Farms - Avoid link farms, link circles, porn/adult site links and hidden links
8.  Broken Links - Be sure to check your own site for bad or broken links.  A link coming
to your site that is broken isn't doing you any good.  Be sure to review all your incoming
links and make sure they point to relevant content.  Use Google Webmaster Tools for
this.
9.  Tracking Results - If you are trying to save money and can't afford a program to track
your keywords try this.  Run a search for our keyword or keywords in Google, Yahoo or
Bing.  When the results come up simply bookmark them.  This allows you to click once
or twice and run a search to check and see if your targeted keywords are ranking on the
first page.
10. Verified Sites - Always add new sites to your Google, Yahoo and Bing webmaster
accounts.  After adding the sites be sure to verify them.
11. Be Careful Link Building – Do not build crazy links to your site.  Links need to come in
steadily over a period of time.  The best way to get your site banned or sandboxed is to
buy a 100k link package.  100-200 links a month for the first year is fine.
12. Keyword Variations - Be sure to use variations on your main keyword when creating
keyword links
13. Privacy Policy - Include a privacy policy page in your footers
14. Sitemaps - Include a sitemap for every site you run.  There are some free sitemap tools
as well as some you can pay for.  I bought one for like $10 that runs on a cron job andjust updates the sitemap every week.  This sitemap is then submitted to all the major
search engines.
15. Duplicate Content - Duplicate content is ok for creating backlinks.  Never use duplicate
content on your site but it is completely ok to use for article marketing and blog posts.
16. Link Sources - Have links coming from as many different IP’s and sites as possible.  I
have listed some suggestions below but remember to build two links to your index page
for every one link you build to a content type page.  Using these sites as well as the
automated sources listed above you should be well on your way to getting a nice amount
of back links.
1.  Personal Blogs
1.  Create multiple blogs using different hosts.  I would pick a host that is
cheap and only costs about $5 a month.  Write one article on this blog and
link it to the appropriate site.  "Do Not" run Adsense on this site or any
other site you own that you link from.  Every week add a now post to this
site.  Create additional blogs on different hosts.
2.  Hosted Blogs
1.  Wordpress.org
2.  Blogger.com
3.  Squidoo.com
3.  Ezines
1.  Ezinearticles.com
2.  InfoBarrel.com
3.  GoArticles.com
4.  Directories
1.  See above
5.  Social Networks
1.  See Above
6.  Press Releases
1.  PRWeb.com
2.  OnlinePRNews.com
3.  Free-Press-Release.com
7.  Wiki Sites
1.  WikiHow.com
2.  HowHub.com
3.  Knol.Google.com
8.  Forums
1.  Run a search for your targeted keyword + forum.  This will return results
of forums based around your targeted niche.  Register and create a
profile/bio and do a few posts.

Google Adsense Sites (9)

Social Bookmark Every Post Immediately After Posting It:
Below I list one of the tools I use called Shareholic.  This is an addon for Firefox and it's
completely awesome.  It allows you to bookmark any page with just one or two clicks.  Use this
addon to bookmark all new content immediately after you post it.  Bookmark your new content
to these sites Yahoo Buzz, Twitter, Stumbleupon, Spinn, Reddit, Mixx, Digg and Delicious.
Every time you add new content bookmark it as soon as it is live and do it every single time.  No
expectations to this rule.  If you don’t want to take the time to do this use the Social Maximizer
tool above.

Add All Your Sites To Google, Yahoo & Bing Webmaster Tools:
This is the last piece to the puzzle for creating a trusted site with the search engines.  Quality
sites and/or good webmasters will use these tools at least weekly.  Add your site to Google,
Yahoo and Bing and be sure to include your sitemap.xml link as well.
Doing this tells the search engines that you have taken the time to care about your site.  These
tools also provide information about broken links, duplicate descriptions and inbound links.  All
of which are important to both the visitor and the way the search engines see your site

Wicked Awesome Tip for Getting High Quality Links Daily
Ever heard of Google Alerts?

Well…it doesn't really matter because I'll explain it anyways.

First I'm assuming you have a Google account already so go to http://www.google.com/alerts.
Once there enter the keyword you want to target surrounded by quotes (see image).  Select Blog
type, once a day, 50 results and the email address you want the alerts delivered to and click
Create Alert button.

Soon emails from Google will start showing up with links to blogs that contain posts or
information related to your keyword/niche.

What I like to do is go through each email and open all the links at one time.  After all the links
are open in one browser I scroll to the bottom of each page to see if there is a spot to post a
comment with my keyword and URL.

Now this is the most important part...Do Not Post Bullshit Spam Messages.  I say this not only
because I run several blogs but that if you post spam comments there is a very good chance your
comment will never see the light of day.

Take two minutes, read the post and comment on the topic that is being discussed.  Most
bloggers will be happy to approve a comment with a link if it is relevant and they can tell the
commenter actually read the post.  So don't waste your time or the bloggers time and leave a
decent comment.

Not all blogs support or allow "dofollow" links but that is ok.  I said above it is better to have a "nofollow" link bringing in quality, steady traffic than a "dofollow" link that maybe brings in a
couple visitors a month.

Google Adsense Sites (8): Analyze Your Analytics

Look over your analytics on both your server/admin panel and your Google Analytics account.  I
like to do this monthly and what I look for are keywords or phrases that people are searching on
that I might never have thought of.  These keywords/phrases might also never show up in the Google Keyword Tool so it is important to do this.  This is also a very good way to get long tail
keywords or ideas for more content/articles.

This is the exact technique you need to use in order to get laser targeted traffic and rank for
hundreds of keywords and phrases.
1.  Log into your Google Analytics and select a date range of 30, 60 or 90 days.
2.  Now expand the Content menu option and select "Top Content."
3.  Click on one of your top content links
4.  On the right hand side click on "Entrance Keywords"

This will display a list of keywords people are using to find your content.  Now chances are
pretty good that many of these keywords and phrases have never been targeted.  Take this list
and use it for building links to this content.  You can also use this information for tweaking on
page SEO such as meta tags, title tags and include them in your content.

Google Adsense Sites (7): Create Links On Auto Pilot

There are hundreds of different ways to create links for your site.  The three sites listed below
will create links to your site either for free or very little cost.  These sites basically create links on
auto pilot so that you don't have to spend all your days’ link building.

1.  Directory Maximizer:  Visit http://www.DirectoryMaximizer.com and create
an account.  This is a manual directory submission service that I have used for
years and they are very good at what they do.  Once you are signed up click the
"Add a Site" link from the main menu.  On the “Add a Site” page put in all the
appropriate information like your URL, category, keywords and email for
submission confirmations.  Once that is complete you must choose titles and
descriptions for your site.  This is VERY IMPORTANT and must be done
exactly as I describe in order for these directory submissions to be worth it.  Be
sure to create 20 different titles and 20 different descriptions for each site.  This
provides a wide variety of links and will not appear as spam to the search engines.
Once you have added your site you can tell them how many directories to submit
to.  I would only do a few hundred directories a month to start and ramp it up as
you go.  If you don’t want to spend the time every month keeping track of how
many submissions you’ve done DM has a subscription service and they will
automatically submit your site to 100 directories every month.  This is a great way
to automate directory submissions.

2.  Social Maximizer:  This is another service by the same guys who run Directory
Maximizer.  It is for building links with social sites and they do a good job of it.
Also, you can import the sites you created in Directory Maximizer so be sure to
create them there first and then simply import them to this site and you are off and
running.  This sites allow deep linking and is great for creating 50 quick social
links to any new content you create.

3.  AddThis.com Button:  Visit http://www.AddThis.com and create an account.
This is a social networking button that you can put on any site or blog.  At first
glance you might think "oh yeah right that doesn't work" but I can assure you it
works and it works very well.  Since implementing this button the social links
back to our top sites have just about quadrupled.  This is link building at its best.
These links come directly from your visitors and will be spread across a wide
variety of sites.  This is quite possibly the best free tool on the Internet right now.
This handy little tool also provides analytics in the form of top content and
services bookmarked to.  Get it, get it now and I don’t want to tell you again!

Remember that building links is a numbers game so the more links the better.  You need to build
links from many sources and I'll explain my custom link building technique below that brings in
very high quality back links from hundreds of thousands of blogs.

Also, remember that just because a link is "nofollow" doesn't mean that it isn't any good.  I
would take a "nofollow" link on a page that brings me steady traffic as opposed to a "dofollow"
link that only brings a click or two.
>> Google Adsense Sites (8): Analyze Your Analytics

Google Adsense Sites (6): Continuously Build Back Links

This step is super important and it’s not as bad and many people think.
Even if you can only build a couple links a week you must continuously build them.  Below I
give you two auto pilot ways to create links.  By using Directory Maximizer (subscription
service) and the AddThis button you can continually get directory links and social bookmarks
without lifting a finger.
Also I’ll show you my "Super Awesome" blog link building technique using Google Alerts.
With my Google Alerts technique you can laser target blogs to post on and create high quality,
content relevant backlinks delivered directly to your mailbox.
To top things off I have also included a video on how to obtain .edu and .gov links.  Watch the
video and after if you have any questions be sure to post them on my blog.  If you use the
technique in the video weekly and create even one or two .edu or .gov links you will be well on
your way to out ranking any competitor.

Google Adsense Sites (5): How To Get Quality, Unique Content

Let me start out by saying don't worry about keyword density.  I know there are all kinds of
theories about the exact keyword density you should have on a page but don’t bother.  There
might be some merit to this but I have never worried about keyword density and don't see myself
changing that anytime soon.

The key is to provide quality, original content that reads well and that actually provides
information the visitor wants.  This information is what the search engines are looking for more
so than just the right amount of keyword density.  With that being said never use duplicate
content on your site.  Dup content is ok to use for link building but don’t use it on a site you are
developing to make money.

Writing your own content is simple and this is how I do it.
For example let’s take a topic like How to Roast Coffee Beans.  I will do a search for this exact
term in Google, Yahoo and Bing.  I will pull 1-2 quality articles from each search engine and
read through them.  While reading through each article I will make notes about important tips
and information in each one.  After this I will pull these tips and tricks together and use them to
create my own article on How to Roast Coffee Beans.
This may seem hard to do on a topic you don’t know much about but you will come up to speed
very quickly.  After reading or skimming through 3-6 documents about a certain topic you will
feel comfortable enough to write about it.
7  10 Things You Must Do To Make Money with Google Adsense Sites |
http://www.CaryBergeron.com | Copyright 2010 | Version 1.0

Now when you first start doing this it could take you and hour or more to write one quality
article.  Don't worry about how long it takes you right now because the more you do this the
more comfortable you will become and the faster you will get.  By the time I stopped writing my
own articles which was within the first 6-9 months I could research, read and write an article in
about 15 minutes.

Article writing is one of the first things you will want to outsource and the sooner you can get to
outsourcing content creation the faster your sites will grow.  Outsourcing content will free you
up for more research and link building.

If you have some money to start with and want to outsource right from the get go that is ok too.
I have found many qualified writers on Elance.com and continue to find talent on this site as I
need it.  I wouldn't pay anymore than about 2-4 cents per word depending on the niche/topic.  I
will usually post a job on Elance and let the bidders know the starting pay in advance.  I will tell
them that for the Elance contract I will pay 2-3 cents per word and if they provide quality content
I can increase that if they choose to do more work for me.  I also require all writers to be located
in the US and write in proper English.
>> Google Adsense Sites (6): Continuously Build Back Links

Google Adsense Sites (4): Add New Content Almost Weekly For One Year

You need to add one new page of content every week for the first six months.  From months 6-12
you can add new original content every 2 weeks and for 12+ months you can start updating
content once a month.  This is the bare minimum and if you can do more that is great.  After
adding this one page of content build 5-10 links.  After building the links to the new content
build twice as many links to the homepage or index of your site.  This seems simple but it is
imperative to the success of your Adsense site.  If this technique is not followed it will take you
twice as long to start to see good money.

During the first three to six months this will seem like a dreadful task.  Months will pass by and
you won't see much traffic or revenue at all.  But, let me repeat that it is IMPERATIVE for you
to do this weekly.  If you follow the steps above with a .CSS template you can add new content
very quickly.  Then just use the techniques I provide to build some links and you are done.  The
entire process should only take about an hour’s worth of time each week.
This is very important for your site to grow organically and will allow you to hold rankings and
not bounce around.

Making It Easy to Find Your Site : Part 2

Determining Your Ranking

Each search engine arranges its search results in some manner. Complicated algorithms are used to determine which Web pages best match a given set of search terms. Search engine staff spend a lot of time tuning the algorithms in order to return the most relevant results possible to all kinds of queries. Even though the search service itself is free, it's all about making money: The better the results, the more the search engine is used; the more the search engine is used, the more money the search engine company makes by selling related services.
You don't just want your site to be listed by a search engine; you want your pages to rank high in the search results. Being ranked in the top ten sites for a given keyword is a surefire way to generate traffic for your site, especially if you can nab the first or second spot on the list. Of course, every other site owner wants the same thing, so you'll face stiff competition to get one of those prized rankings.

The PageRank Formula

The PageRank formula was created by Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin while they were Ph.D. students at Stanford University. The relative importance of a particular page is calculated according to the number of other pages that link to it and how important those other pages are themselves. A basic description of the formula is found on the Google Web site at www.google.com/technology, but see the list at www.memwg.com/pagerank for more details about the formula.

How search engines rank individual pages is a matter of great debate among Web site owners. For competitive reasons, search engines rarely disclose more than vague details about their page-ranking algorithms. Even the famous PageRank formulathe one that determines a site's popularity by counting the number of other sites that link to itis just a small (though important) part of Google's ranking algorithm.

PageRank Tools

Firefox and Mozilla users can download an open-source browser extension that displays the current page's PageRank in the browser's status bar. See www.memwg.com/ pagerank for details.

Competition isn't the only reason search engines keep their algorithms proprietary. Once key algorithms like the PageRank formula are generally known, site owners start to adapt their pages specifically for the algorithms in order to favorably skew the search engine results their way. For example, link farmsgroups of Web sites created specifically to increase the number of links to targeted pageswere used early on to bump up Google page rankings. Search engines are constantly monitoring and adjusting their search algorithms in order to avoid this kind of overt manipulation.

The simplest way to determine a page's ranking is to search using page-related keywords and see where the page ends up in the search results. Since your site is keyword-driven itself (to display more relevant ads), this should yield fairly accurate results.

Another way to determine page ranking is to use Google's Toolbar (Figure 9.6). The Toolbar, currently available only for Internet Explorer, can display a page's relative PageRank on a scale from 0 to 10, with 10 being the most important and 0 the least. The higher the PageRank, the higher your page's ranking within a search.

Improving Your Ranking

As long as you're not doing it deceptively or fraudulently, there's nothing wrong with trying to improve your site's search engine rankings. This is what search engine optimization (SEO) is all about.

Do You Crawl Here Often?

Improving your site's search engine rankings is a slow process because it depends on how often search engines crawl your site, and that may happen as seldom as every few weeksthere's no set schedule.

There are two basic techniques for improving a page's ranking. The first is to ensure that the page has good content and good keyword density. This should be a no-braineryou should already be creating your pages this way if you want AdSense to display relevant ads. Watch for missing keywords, thoughtry to figure out what people are really searching for and make sure your page gets included in the search results.

The other technique is to get highly ranked pages to link to your page. This increases the relative importance of your own page, especially if the anchor text of the link (the text that the user clicks to activate the link) contains keywords relevant to your site. While this technique works especially well with Google, where the popularity of a page is a fundamental part of the PageRank formula, all search engines use incoming links as an important ranking tool. Note that the reverse can also be true: Incoming links from poorly ranked pagesespecially those that have been removed from search engine indexes due to overt attempts at page-rank manipulationwill drag down the page's ranking.

As you might imagine, obtaining high-quality incoming links to your site can be a challenge. You can try to initiate a link swap with the other site, whereby you both agree to link to each other's sitesthe classic "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" situation. But link swaps only work if both parties feel they have something to gain from the relationship.

Of course, if you have unique, useful content, other sites will start linking to yours without any prompting on your part. This can be a mixed blessing, however, because you have no control over the quality of those incoming links.

Making It Easy to Find Your Site : Part 1

Getting Listed

The first step is to get listed in your favorite search engines. There are three ways to do this:

  • Submit your Web address directly to the search engine for free.

  • Get someone already listed to link to your site.

  • Pay to have your site listed on one or more search engines.
Which you do depends entirely on the search engine you're targeting. Obviously, the free option appeals to most people. To submit a site to Google, fill out the simple form at www.google.com/addurl . To submit a site to Yahoo!, go to submit.search.yahoo.com/free/request you'll need to register for a Yahoo! account if you don't already have one. To submit to MSN Search, use the form at http://www.search.yahoo.com/info/submit.html. Submitting your site to the major search engines only takes a few minutes and is well worth the effort.

More Site Submissions

For the URL submission forms and guidelines for other sites, see the list of links at www.memwg.com/free-site-submit.

Downsides of Free Site Submission

Don't expect your site to show up immediately in the search engine's listings. It may take weeks before the search engine crawls (that is, inventories the pages of) your site. Or it may refuse your site for various reasons.

Not all search engines let you submit sites for free. Some require either a one-time payment or a subscription in order to list your site. There may be different payment levels available, with the pricier levels guaranteeing more prominent placement of your site in the search engine's results. Some sites, like Yahoo! and MSN, offer both free and paid submission options.

Is it worth paying for getting listed? Not initially. Submit your site to the search engines using their free submission forms as soon as you have a few good pages of content available, and spend your time (and money) working on other aspects of the site. Wait until the site's been running for a while and you've explored other avenues for increasing traffic.
The other way to be listed by a search engine is to get an already indexed site to link to yours. Search engines periodically recrawl the sites in their indexes, looking for new content and new links. If one of these sites links to a page on your site, the crawler will eventually find its way to that page. And if you've followed the linking rules laid out late, the search engine will then be able to find your site's home page and site map, and soon all your pages will find their way into the index.
The trick, of course, is to get a link to your site on someone else's site. If you know someone who already has an indexed site up and running, you can simply ask that person to link to your site. Getting your site mentioned in someone's blog is an easy way to do it if your site has useful information that the blogger thinks would be of interest to his or her readers. Note that the quality of the links to your site is also importantmore on this shortly.

Getting listed in a Web directorylike the original Yahoo! directory or the Google directory is another way to get into search engine indexes. (A directory is something like a phone book for Web sites.) For submissions to the Yahoo! directory, see the links near the bottom of the http://search.yahoo.com/info/submit.html page. The Google directory is actually based on the directory maintained by the Open Directory Project, also known as DMOZ or ODP, a Web-community effort. Getting listed is free, but it's a more involved (and sometimes controversial) processsee http://dmoz.org/add.html for more details.

Google Adsense Sites (3): Add New Content Almost Weekly For One Year

Google Adsense Sites (2): Include Your Keywords In The Domain Name

This is extremely important to do and I have tested it on different niches and sites so I know it
works.  Nowadays it can be tough to find a good keyword domain because they have all been
bought up and most likely are just collecting dust.  So it's ok to use dashes in domain names as
long as you don't get carried away with them.  Let’s say you want to register the domain
FreeWidgets.com but it is taken.  It is ok and just as acceptable to register Free-Widgets.com.
Or, if that is taken move onto the next TLD like .org or .net and again stay away from .info
domains.

I have tested domain keywords many times now and in every single test the keyword domain
beat out the non keyword domain.  With the Free Widgets example above let’s say you register
Free-Widgets.org and WidgyMan.com.  If you do the exact same amount of work to each
domain with regards to content, links, on page SEO and such the Free-Widgets.org domain will
rank quicker and higher for the keyword "free widgets" than the domain WidgyMan.com every
time with no exceptions.

Do your best to get the keywords in your domain name.  Now I know some people will say that
it doesn't matter but I have tested this theory and know for sure that it matters.  If you want to
make money you can follow the directions of someone making $150k+ a year on Adsense(that’s
me) or someone who thinks something might work.

Google Adsense Sites (1): Niche & Keyword Research

I use the Google Keyword Tool for my research almost exclusively.  On occasions I use
Wordtracker as well but for the most part I start all new research with Google’s keyword tool.

When looking for a niche I simply follow the money.  There is more money in “mortgages for
single moms” then there is for “how to build a bird house.”  Follow the money and you will
never be disappointed.  There is money in providing content to someone looking for insurance,
mortgages, bankruptcy, laws, loans, grants and such.  Follow the money when choosing
keywords and you will not be disappointed.

When choosing a niche it is best to find one that has competition.  If there is not competition
there is no money to be made in that niche.  Also, don’t be afraid of a little competition because
using what I teach you in this guide you will eventually out rank them.

5.  http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/

When choosing a niche I choose one that has a good amount of traffic.  I don’t bother with
any niche that gets less than 5000 monthly searches.  It’s just not worth it to me because I
don’t want to develop a site that only brings in a couple clicks a day.  I would rather have 5-
10 sites each making $100+ a day as opposed to 100-200 sites making $1-$2 a day.
So when picking a niche be sure that there is traffic and competition and you can’t go wrong.
By applying the techniques and tips in this report you will eventually start to rank and make
money.
