Google Adsense Sites (8): Analyze Your Analytics

Look over your analytics on both your server/admin panel and your Google Analytics account.  I
like to do this monthly and what I look for are keywords or phrases that people are searching on
that I might never have thought of.  These keywords/phrases might also never show up in the Google Keyword Tool so it is important to do this.  This is also a very good way to get long tail
keywords or ideas for more content/articles.

This is the exact technique you need to use in order to get laser targeted traffic and rank for
hundreds of keywords and phrases.
1.  Log into your Google Analytics and select a date range of 30, 60 or 90 days.
2.  Now expand the Content menu option and select "Top Content."
3.  Click on one of your top content links
4.  On the right hand side click on "Entrance Keywords"

This will display a list of keywords people are using to find your content.  Now chances are
pretty good that many of these keywords and phrases have never been targeted.  Take this list
and use it for building links to this content.  You can also use this information for tweaking on
page SEO such as meta tags, title tags and include them in your content.
